Choose your tier

All three tiers include the same once-off onboarding of R1,850 and are billed annually in advance.

Essential Placeholder — R3,900/year (first-year total R5,750)

  • Dormant status confirmation and KYC
  • Public Officer appointment (SARS eFiling update)
  • ITR14 (dormant/nil)
  • CIPC annual return and beneficial ownership update
  • SARS/CIPC correspondence forwarded within 3 business days

Nil VAT201 / EMP201 / EMP501 / COIDA returns (if registered) are quoted extra on this tier.

Proactive Oversight — R6,900/year (first-year total R8,750)

Everything in Essential Placeholder, plus:

  • Nil VAT201 / EMP201 / EMP501 / COIDA returns (if registered)
  • Quarterly eFiling and CIPC status check
  • Annual compliance health report

Oversight + Reactivation Ready — R9,500/year (first-year total R11,350)

Everything in Proactive Oversight, plus:

  • Reactivation roadmap and 1 advisory session per year
  • Reactivation fees discounted (setup credited)

Onboarding and fees

The first-year price includes the once-off R1,850 onboarding. From year two, the annual retainer is R3,900 / R6,900 / R9,500 depending on your tier, invoiced 30 days before the anniversary.

Pricing note: the Essential annual fee sits above the R3,300 baseline because it carries the public officer's liability. Tier 2 adds the recurring nil-return and monitoring work. Tier 3 bundles the advisory time.

Not included (quoted separately)

  • Arrears or late filings, and penalties
  • Annual financial statements, if required
  • Deregistration of VAT, PAYE or the company
  • SARS audits, objections or disputes
  • Government fees
  • Foreign (non-South African) tax advice

Engagement and acceptance

Engagement is subject to dormancy confirmation and KYC acceptance. If we cannot accept your company, the retainer is refunded less a R850 admin fee.

Terms

  • Except where an engagement is declined under Engagement and acceptance above, fees are paid annually in advance and are non-refundable.
  • Both sides give 30 days' notice. The client must appoint a replacement within the statutory period.
  • The client must sign a mandate and indemnity (have an attorney review this).
  • The service is delivered by named Maltech-Africa employees.
  • If the company starts trading, the client must notify us at once and move to a full compliance package.
  • The Promise to Pay option can apply.
